Elon Musk JUST BLASTED GM and Joe Biden!
Elon Musk has recently lashed out at both General Motors and American President Joe Biden.

In today’s video, we will find out why Musk has recently spoken out against General Motors (GM) and United States President Joe Biden regarding the current state of the automotive industry – in particular, the electric vehicle (EV) market.
Ever since incumbent American President Joe Biden stepped into office after winning the Presidential elections in 2020, he has from the very outset been a staunch supporter of General Motors Corporation and the overall Detroit car manufacturing scene.
This has been much to the dismay of the California denizen Elon Musk who received general favorability from the erstwhile Republican presidency of Donald Trump between his reigning years of 2016 till 2020.
Of course, since then, Musk has continued expanding his Tesla empire by establishing new factories in Shanghai, China, and later in 2022, new giga-factories in Texas (Musk’s current domicile) as well as Berlin, Germany.
Despite Tesla’s aggressive growth in the market for electric vehicles, its competitors are always trying by any means necessary to gain any advantage possible.
In GM’s case, the current president of the company, Mary Barra, has been known to be a good acquaintance of President Biden and consequentially, has received favorable support from his administration in terms of government incentives and promotion.
Recently on July 18th, GM announced the release of their brand new fully electric vehicle, the Chevy Blazer. The new model is aimed at directly competing against Tesla’s Model Y SUV and the Ford Mustang Mach-E.
The main talking point behind the launch of GM’s new model is the factory location – being Ramos Arizpe in Mexico.
The said announcement got Tesla fans riled up on Twitter, with one woman by the name of Johnna Crider commenting over Twitter user Sawyer Merritt’s news update sharing Reuters’ coverage of the unveiling of the 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV:
” Wow..
And @potus snubbed @elonmusk and Tesla to put GM on a pedestal. So much for American jobs.
Mexico is cheaper I guess.”
And of course, Elon Musk was quick to reply. Specifically, he pointed out how the Tesla vehicles sold in the US were actually manufactured in the country:
“Tesla’s are the most made-in-USA vehicles.”
This is in reference to the US-sold Tesla’s being made in the company’s California Gigafactory and, most recently, in the brand-new state-of-the-art Texas plant.
In parallel, Musk also blasted GM and President Biden with an indirect salvo owing to the news that the new EV vehicle would be produced outside the US for US customers all while Biden openly declared that GM is pioneering the EV market for Americans.
How Tesla Became the EV Leader
Although Tesla wasn’t the very first company to produce fully electric vehicles (that honor goes to the Frenchman Gustave Trouve’s human-carrying electric vehicle first tested in Paris in April 1881), it was the first company to mass produce EVs and popularize them in the mainstream consciousness.
Tesla’s origins date back to its founding in July 2003 by Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning, whom served as CEO and CFO respectively. Eberhard said that he wanted to build “a car manufacturer that is also a technology company”, with its core technologies being “the battery, the computer software, and the proprietary motor.”
