Elon Musk’s Married Life
Elon Musk, one of the most well-known multi-millionaires in the world, has gone through several marriages, divorces, and child custody battles during the past 20 years. This must be a very traumatic and deteriorating part of life for Musk. The Daily Mail claims that the inventor of Tesla and SpaceX toiled to strike a balance between his hard work ethic and his obligations to his family and his convoluted personal life.
He Married Justine Musk,
In 2000, he married Justine Musk, a now-Canadian author whom he met at Queen’s University in Ontario, Canada. Before divorcing her in 2008, he had five children with her. Justine blamed Musk for treating her like one of the employees and was often pissed off. In her essay, Justine reported: “Elon’s judgment overruled mine, and he was constantly remarking on the ways he found me lacking.” She shared the reason behind their separation, “He had grown up in the male-dominated culture of South Africa, and the will to compete and dominate that made him so successful in business did not magically shut off when he came home,’ she explained. “This, and the vast economic imbalance between us, meant that in the months following our wedding, a certain dynamic began to take hold.” Musk responded to her allegations by saying “If you were my employee, I’d fire you.” She said that a car accident, during which she initially believed her husband was going to murder her, was what ultimately caused their divorce in 2008.
Elon filed for divorce after attending counselling for a month. Despite being “estranged” as of 2010, when the piece was written, Justine claimed she did not regret her connection with Elon.
Even after separation, Justine had a soft corner towards Musk. She once stated, ‘But I will always respect the brilliant and visionary person that he is. I also can’t regret the divorce (our case was bifurcated, which means that even though the property issues aren’t settled, our marriage is legally dead). Elon and I share custody of the children, who are thriving. I feel grounded now, and deeply grateful for my life.’
Musk’s had to face another accusation
According to Insider, one of his businesses, SpaceX, paid an employee $250,000 to resolve a claim that Musk had harassed her sexually in 2016. The allegations, according to Musk, were “utterly incorrect” and intended to thwart his acquisition of Twitter Inc., an arrangement he is currently attempting to terminate. Australian actress Natasha Bassett has been in a long line of high-profile women to embellish billionaire Elon Musk’s arm. Musk has a relationship history that includes three marriages and three divorces, including two of each with the same woman, and seven children from two long-term romances.
Tieing knot with Talulah Riley
Then, in a club, Musk met British actress Talulah Riley, whom he later wed in 2010. However, the union was brief and ended in divorce two years later, with Riley receiving $16 million as part of the settlement. However, they married once more in 2013 but Riley requested a divorce again in 2016. They never united again as the experience was resentful and torturous for both of them.
