Elon Musk Just EXPOSE A TERRIFYING Black Hole 1500 LY From Earth!
Just now, new chapters in the history of black holes were added. One of the mysterious “hearts of darkness” of the cosmos lies out there in the depths of space, not too far from the edge of our solar system.
Three times closer than the previous record holder and roughly ten times as large as our sun, researchers revealed last week that they had discovered a hibernating black hole just 1,600 light years from our planet.

A total of 100 million black holes, each between 5 and 100 times more massive than our sun, are thought to be hiding in our galaxy, despite the fact that scientists have only discovered roughly 20 of them so far.
According to Musk, the newly discovered black hole shouldn’t maintain the title of “closest to Earth” forever because there are so many others that are still undiscovered.
Being close is obviously a crucial aspect of worry when dealing with the all-consuming power of a black hole. Fortunately, in this instance, staying dormant is equally significant because it indicates that the black hole looks to be full and does not provide a hazard. At the very least, we should hope so, Musk says.
The NSF’s NOIRLab’s Gemini North telescope on the Hawaiian island of Hawai’i was used to find this specific black hole, which has been dubbed Gaia BH1.
According to NASA, the majority of black holes are created when big stars die. When stars with masses of at least 10 times that of the sun or larger approach the end of their existence, they collapse in explosive supernovae. The black hole, which they leave behind, is crammed full of matter with a mass of at least several suns. It is impossible for anything, not even light, to escape the intense gravitational pull of these dense objects.
Scientists are unable to directly view a black hole since no light can escape from one. However, as adjacent material is devoured by active black holes, they generate X-rays that alert scientists to their presence.
But since dormant black holes, like the recently found one, are not feeding, they do not generate X-rays. Even though they are more common, inactive black holes can be more difficult to detect.
The system is strange since it contradicts what is known about how black holes are created at this time in science. It should have grown into a supergiant early in its life as a star since BH1 is large enough to do so. In fact, long before that neighbor could develop into the sun-like star it is today, it should have enlarged sufficiently to swallow its partner star, Musk explained.
Perhaps the most urgent question and the one that interests the majority of people, “Are there more of these dormant black holes nearby?”. The most critical question of all is: Is it ever possible to awaken from a dormant phase?

A terrifying vision is befitting, of course, when the gravity is so intense that even light cannot escape its attraction and the burps likewise reach over light years of space.
