Elon Musk Just REVEALED The US Navy's Submarine Hunter!
Elon Musk was recently revealed to be working on an unmanned autonomous nuclear-powered submarine to assist the US Navy. It was given the name “Submarine Hunter” or simply “Sub Hunter.” It has some impressive capabilities of tracking and engaging enemy submarines for an extended period with a lot more technical advancement that can add enormous strength to any navy fleet during the war. In today’s video, we are going to tell you what Elon Musk Just revealed about the horrifying Submarine Hunter for The US Navy!
Elon Musk’s new submarine, Sub Hunter, will be built with advanced technology and the endurance of the human spirit. To begin, let’s review what we already know about Elon’s creation. Submarine Hunter, or Sub Hunter, is the name given to the craft. The Sub Hunter is a seal who aspires to join the US Navy’s fleet. It is equipped with active control systems, which include propulsion. The hull is a 40-meter portion of liquid oxygen (Lox) transfer tube from a Falcon 9 rocket.
The transfer tube transports ultra cold LOx from its tank at the top of the first stage of the rocket, down through the fuel tank in the lower half of the stage, and into the manifold that distributes it to the nine Merlin engines.
As LOx freezes to -207 degrees Celsius, 380 US liters every second run down the Lox transfer tube, which is naturally fairly huge and tremendously robust. Of course, being a rocket component, it’s also relatively light. Elon confirmed this by stating, “The complete Sub Hunter weighed roughly 100 tonnes.” A nose cone is kept on the front of the Sub Hunter to protect the airline attachment point. This item was made on short notice using the same spin-forming technology used by SpaceX to build the exhaust nozzles for their Merlin engines.
What’s inside the Sub Hunter is a little more difficult to say. “Interior will have everything from Neoprene insulation to a sound system that would allow passengers to listen to music while traveling,” Elon stated during the project’s rapid development and construction. The Sub Hunter’s ability to properly contain the human occupant is unknown, as is how much of these luxury aspects were developed by the time it was needed. It is impossible to deny the existence of water. Not only is the design straightforward, but it has also passed at least one major test dive before being delivered to the US Navy. The main problem is that it would be difficult to maneuver through some of the tighter areas, and if it became stuck and closed the roof, it would be a disaster. The results may have been terrible.
The Sub Hunter is both charming and strong, a sincere gesture with little intricacy for its good. It’s the work of a man who has succeeded so many times in turning the impossible into the possibility that he now sees every challenge as an opportunity to build something that no one else believes is feasible, maybe falling prey to the engineer savior trap. Elon Musk and his crew have an uncanny ability to come up with brilliant concepts. This was merely a fantasy that no one desired.
Because these engines run on-air and fuel, they have to resurface more regularly, making them more noticeable. In electric mode, these submarines are quieter than when the diesel engines are running. The majority of submarines nowadays are diesel-electric or conventionally propelled, making them smaller and less expensive to maintain.
