Elon Musk’s URGENT WARNING Of A Massive Hit In Earth On 2043!
Every day, space debris burns up in our atmosphere. Thermal explosions will destroy any space rock with a diameter of about 10-meters in the Earth’s atmosphere. But even so, some of these space fragments do fall to Earth.
However according NASA, a meteor struck the back end of a car in 1992, and falling space debris also damaged a Connecticut dining room and an Alabama bedroom this century. Despite this, no human being has been killed by a small space rock in the last thousand years. What about the big ones? Some scientists believe we are due for an asteroid impact on the scale that wiped out the dinosaurs, as these occur once every 50 to 60 million years.

According to Musk, ancient craters on Earth’s surface clearly show that large objects have struck the planet in the past, and there is no reason to believe that this will not continue in the future. The likelihood of an impact is proportional to the size of the object: the larger the comet or asteroid, the lower the likelihood, because there are many more small objects out there than large ones. Every day, tons of debris, much of it in the size of grains of sand, strike the Earth’s atmosphere and burn up.
These are the “shooting stars” that are common at night. Some larger rocks survive their fiery descent to the surface and are displayed in museums as “meteorites.” Real threatening objects, those large enough to cause regional or global disaster if they collide, may appear once every few hundred thousand years. But, is it timing now?
Many scientists believe that an extremely large asteroid (about six miles in diameter) collided with Earth 65 million years ago near Mexico’s Yucatan peninsula. The impact caused devasting effects across the entire planet, including thick clouds of dust and ash that prompted global temperatures to plummet, causing the dinosaurs and much of the rest of Earth’s life to become extinct, Musk stated.
Countless pieces of debris litter the path Earth takes in its orbit around the Sun. Apart from dinosaurs, we can locate the largest of these “Near-Earth Objects” (NEOs) and calculate their orbits to see if they will ever approach us. Several different telescopes are currently scanning the sky for them on a regular and automatic basis.
The fear of massive asteroid impacts is similar to the fear of flying. Though the likelihood of anything occurring is extremely low, the vivid thought of such a catastrophic event occurring can cause people to magnify the likelihood in their minds, resulting in irrational fear.
Fortunately, current calculations show that the likelihood of a civilization-ending asteroid impact, such as the one that wiped out the dinosaurs 66 million years ago, is very low within our lifetimes. But how do we know this, and what is the likelihood of a large meteor impact?
However, according to Musk, the assertion is extremely questionable. To begin with, when we’re talking about likelihoods based on tens of millions of years, a tiny fraction in either direction is still hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of years.
