What Elon Musk FOUND Will SHOCK Everyone!
The soviets were so pleased with the outcomes of their Sputnik program that they started a top-secret initiative in 1962 to create a self-sufficient moon base. To conquer the moon before the Americans, the plan, code-named Zvezda or “star,” had this as its goal. The goal was extremely ambitious and required the construction of a number of settlement modules, which would then be partially buried in regolith to blend in with the surrounding landscape. A wheeled chassis would be included so that the base may be moved. And so, let’s check how it went for the Soviets, and the tech billionaire Elon Musk will update us all!

A “journey to the Moon” has been in the minds of science fiction writers, filmmakers, amateur astronomers, and space enthusiasts for a long time.1 In 1957, the Soviet Union launched its first artificial satellite, initiating the so-called “Space Race,” which eventually turned into a race for the Moon. The lunar landing of Apollo 11 in 1969 is noted in history books as the conclusion of the space race.
The Space Race era saw a great deal of progress in a short amount of time, including the first artificial satellite launches, the first animals and humans in low Earth orbit, robotic spacecraft missions to the Moon and Mars, and the first landing of a human on the moon. On April 12 of that year, Juri Gagarin of the Soviet Union became the first person to travel into space. A widespread media echo was created during his successful 108-minute orbital journey.
The Space Center Houston reported that “the flight shocked the world.” On May 25, 1961, a few weeks later, John F. Kennedy delivered his “Special Message to the Congress on Urgent National Needs.” He stated that […] “I believe that this nation should commit itself to achieving the goal, before this decade is out, of landing a man on the moon and returning him safely to the Earth.” He then added: “No single space project in this period will be more impressive to mankind, or more important for the long-range exploration of space; and none will be so difficult or expensive to accomplish.”
In order to convey the “correct” message, President Kennedy was renowned for meticulously selecting the “proper” words and phrases. His plea was granted by the Congress, and the rest is history. Kennedy was correct that the concepts and initiatives of this initial stage would have a significant influence for many years to come. The objectives were pursued with great effort. An organization of about 400,000 engineers, scientists, and professionals in related fields worked together to organize and prepare the Apollo landing, according to German-American aerospace engineer and architect Wernher von Braun (Von Braun, 1969).
German rocket scientists, engineers, and technicians were key players not only in the US effort but also in the Soviet program. The US and the Soviet Union both stepped up their national space programs after World War II, it is important to note. Wernher von Braun was one of more than 1600 German and Austrian technicians and scientists who were transferred to the United States between 1945 and 1955 through the Operation Paperclip2 programme and a number of related operations.
